Using mobile-first design practices, I created an outline for designing the demo mobile site for our new content portal. The content portal will be used internally by content editors across all digital products and externally by our hospital partners' marketing teams. Once finalized, the design will be passed on to our development partners at Reflect for implementation.

Goal
-Design the mobile version of a new content portal
-Include functionality for scheduling content to devices, designing custom messages, and designing & updating patient guides.

-UI Designer (me)
-UX Director

This first walkthrough above shows the landing page for a particular program (cardiology) and its topic list, and shows how the user would navigate when selecting a particular topic and piece of content. Once the content has been selected, the user will have the option to publish the content and select the device to publish it on.

This next walkthrough above and below shows how a user would be able to create their own custom message. First they would start by selecting their image.

Custom messages are customized images for a particular doctor's office. They can be used to highlight health observances, promote new services, or whatever messaging they would like to be displayed in their exam rooms, waiting rooms, or back offices.

Then they would be prompted to approve their selection, and then select their color & layout options and then select the headline and description that they would like to be displayed.

Then they are allowed to preview their images (both the images themselves and within a device) before sending to publish.

The last functionality walkthrough shows how an external user (ex-someone from a hospital marketing team) would navigate through updating content to be featured in their patient guides (patient guides are take-home booklets given to patients being discharged from the hospital). The user is able to select the articles they would like to add to the guide, preview the article, arrange them in the order of their choosing, and then select their color, layout, title, and additional messaging before sending to our production team for review and publishing.

In conclusion, this demo was a success and was passed along to Reflect for final design and development and was successfully launched internally and externally in October 2020
