The hospital team wanted to provide support to the hospitals that use our products by providing a digital media toolkit where members of their marketing team could pull images, articles, and videos to publish on their social media platforms. This toolkit would be offered as a free perk initially, but if the beta test proved successful--this would become an add-on subscription.
Goal
-Design a webpage for potential hospital marketing teams
-Research different ways to sort content in order to make navigation easier to use
-Take the "wish list" of functionality into consideration for initial mockups and then work with UX developer to determine which features will go out in the beta version vs the paid version (ex-featured topics, NHO calendar, and filtering assets).
Team
-VP of Creative Team (Project Manager)
-UI Designer (me)
-UX Developer
After discussing the options with development & sales -- it was decided that option #3 would be the best moving forward with a slight modification for the initial beta version. For its initial launch, the toolkit would be a single scroll page -- if this version goes well, then we will add in the ability to sort by health topic, month, or media type once our corporate site switches over to drupal.
Below is what the final product looks like -- you can also test the prototype here:
